WOW... where do I start???I'm a registered nurse at a local hospital. I work on a 30-bed Medical/Surgical Unit. I absolutely LOVE it. What's great about our hospital is that if you're not having a baby or in CCU...you're on my floor. So it's something new every day. I feel so blessed that I feel like I'm finally doing what I was put here on this earth to do.I have two absolutely wonderful children that I treasure. I couldn't have picked them better if I chose them out of a catalog. They are turning out to be great people and I'm glad to take credit for at least part of that accomplishment! Adam is 15 and a freshman in high school and Emily is 11 and in 5th grade.I haven't had much of a life since I've been in school the last few years - but I am finding myself outside of Purdue North Central again. I do like to read other than books about the human body and disease!!! I guess I'm a glutten for punishment because I'm currently pursuing my BSN from Chamberlain College of Nursing...Maybe one day I'll be done with school.I like to go to the movies and out to dinner. Camping, canoeing, and hiking are things that I love but don't get to do them quite enough. I enjoy taking the kids to the water park so I can spend my day on the lazy river... I hate HOT HOT STICKY summers and can't wait for nice autum days with the cool nights to get here.I love my friends and my family and I treasure each relationship that I have. I didn't have that outlook too much until my mom passed away last year. She was my best friend and loosing that part of me made me take a deeper look inside myself and served as a reminder that relationships are what are important and that you learn and grow from each one - even the dysfunctional and crazy ones...
