Mike Katt

About Me

Mike Katt is an independent multi-instrumentalist who’s jammed with various musicians in Michigan and Indiana for the better part of ten years. Based in Ohio and living near Fort Wayne, he’s had the pleasure of meeting and befriending local musicians such as Black Cat Mambo, Flat Tire Ambulance, Mojo Dub, Moser Woods, Oximoron, Jerome Schooley, Sunny Taylor, and Teays Vein, among others.
Within the last few years, Mike has compiled and released an instrumental album currently distributed online called Sonic Transmission.
Currently, Mike is providing bass and vocals for an Alternative/Progressive Rock band called Identica. He also plans to continue recording instrumental music and begin another solo project involving song-oriented Progressive Music.
Mike’s debut album, Sonic Transmission, is an eclectic mix of instrumental rock and electronica, and is sure to please fans of provocative melodies and infectious grooves. Throughout this site, you’ll find links to various e-tailer stores if you’d like to purchase tracks or the entire album.
