Lavish is originally from Lansing, Michigan but now resides in Barnwell County, South Carolina. Music has always been a part of Lavish's life. At the age of eleven lavish attended his first studio session with his older sister. From that day on he was sold on what he wanted to do with his future.
In 2004 Lavish relocated from Michigan to the "Palmetto State" of South Carolina. He and local artist Johnny Wish, along with Johnny Wish's brother S.A.S formed Change Da Game Entertainment. In 2005 Johnny Wish and Lavish released "Change Da Game Vol. 1" followed by Lavish's first solo album "Loyal to tha Streets". In 2006 Lavish started his own company called Str8 Hood Entertainment and released his sophomore effort entitled "Life In Da Bricks". Str8 Hood Entertainment is the home label to artist such as Dutch, Yung Z, Cash Boy Click, Sonny Regal and the duo Tryfe & Stax.
Lavish has opened up for acts such as Gorilla Zoe, Yo Gotti, Yung Berg, The Shop Boyz, Wale', San Quinn and Lil' Boosie. He is now focused on making the jump from a regional artist to a national artist. With Str8 Hood Entertainment backing him and "Block Tested, Hood Approved" set to hit the streets, the future is very bright and very promising.
