About Me

I'm currently resident and co-promoter of the Tribal Medicine parties - we've had a year long run @ the Ocean Rooms in Brighton - partying with the likes of Freq Nasty, Aquasky, Micky Slim & The Rogue Element and supplied the city with a 3 room event covering all forms of hard and funky underground music from Electro and Breaks to Techno and a bit of Psy thrown in too.
We also host a Tribal Medicine room at the awesome Overload The Fort parties, which take place a few times each summer about a mile out to sea from Portsmouth's Gun Wharf Quays, on a 200 year-old-millitary Fort... Needless to say these all dayers are an absolute blast!
We run a free party called the 'Bar Sessions' on the 3rd Sat of each month in Petersfield, Hants - and these are the only nights for miles around - for people in the area to hear proper underground music.
From 2004-2009 I ran the Techno reviews page in one of the UK's largest dance music publications International DJ Magazine and spend a fair bit of time involving myself in other aspects of music journalism, with plenty of event reports, features and articles written over the years for IDJ as well as Upfront Mag and all over the net... I've recently started working on a new project with Mark EG providing articles and reviews of a Techno persuasion for Core Magazine.... www.core-mag.net
Going back to my roots I cut my teeth in the music scene with the Section 63 Soundsystem and from 2002 helped organise many outdoor raves, warehouse parties & club nights. We built up quite a reputation in our area for throwing a succession of awesome woods parties and linked up with many other soundsystems and friends, finding and visiting wierd and wonderful party locations to throw unforgetable nights of bass throbbing hedonism... this resulted at the time in a tour of Japan (courtesy of the Stay Up Forever booking agency) and plays at parties and festivals across Europe and guest sets for some of the biggest and best Techno clubs throughout London (SEONE, The Mass, The Fridge, Bagleys, Ministry of Sound, 414, Dance Industry Studios) and the rest of the UK.
Here's A list of a lot of the parties that I've played at - Tribal Medicine, Section 63, Chemical Warfare, Glade Festival, Guilfest, Antiworld, Waveform Festival, Overload The Fort, Digital Playground, Underground City, Holodeck, Bad Robot, Project Storm, Chichime, Drop The Bomb, Tribe of Munt, Manik, KSS, Technosense, Ravenous, Mass-Tokyo, Wank-Tokyo, Frenchteks, Scumteks, UK Teks, Nuclear Free Zone, Slutfunk, Stay up Forever nye, Compressed, Twisted Techno, Generator, Malfaiteurs, Acid Bath, Cymatic Sounds, Aztek, Fuktnose, Psychosis, Club Spore, Something Fishy, Nine Bar, Cyberdance, Onionfest, Banana Moon, Wobbleberry, Futureshock, Technosis, Outbreak, Blag to Reallity, Techno Therapy, Filth Infatuated, Resonate, Infectious Breaks, Mutate To Survive, Contact, Scum Like Us, E'Volve + many more nites than I can remember in bars, clubs, fields, barns, woods, warehouses, office blocks, underground bunkers, london arches etcetcetc...
