About Me
Born in New York city, from Puerto Rican born parents, and Cuban ancestry, Angel began his musical history at the tender age of 16 years old already recorded with Tico Records with groups such as Orquesta Cimarron, Louie Lopez Orq., and performing with Johnny Colon, Louie Canales, just to mention a few. His experience took him to Puerto Rico, and the Miami scene. He has toured with bands such as Chicago, Nestor Torres, Roscoe Martinez, Bertie Higgins, The Kinetics. He has performed with many other groups such as Musicology,
No Regrets, Euphoria, The Max Band, Bobby Rodriguez Orq., The Edge, Pangia, Shelina,
Galo Rivera, Ka-cha. He has been a backup musician for such bands as Toto, Allman bros., Steppenwolf, and Bad company.
