WAKEHAM'S TERRORTORY

Wakeham's Terrortory started out as a home project back in 2003.Finding it difficult to find the right people to commit as band members,it started by the purchase of some cheap second hand four track,drum machine and bass to go with the already intended role of vocals/guitar.The idea was to just go ahead and make music for people to hear anyway,then try and hire out a drummer and bass player for gigs here and there when possible. By 2005 a local guitar player who is multi tallented and a big Megadeth fan heard some newly recorded songs,loved every one of them so much he and his tallented drummer friend volenteered to help out to play the first gig in early 2006 at local live music venue 'Finns' opening for three other bands on a metal band night and went down a storm,taking everybody in the pub by complete suprise due to the super intense live performance. With the love and passion for classic heavy metal,N.W.O.B.H.M.,thrash metal,hardcore/crossover and other related genres from the old gaurd combined with leather and denim with patches,an attitude of being pissed off with social appathy in modern society and the lack of character and definition in modern rock and metal in general,the main objective with Wakeham's Terrortory is to create intensity and true meaning expressed in good quality songs played with real conviction! The music is combined with an aura of pure attacking aggression that reflects on the life and enviroment we live in the world today...especially issues more close to home here in Weymouth,Dorset. The name was thought of out of using the surname 'Wakeham' and adding a complete tittle to it.
