About Me

Phonetic Music is an Independent Music company that was established in the Spring of 2002 and deals in both Music Management and Music Publishing. Management Clients: Axwell (www.axwell.co.uk/www.myspace.com/axwell) is currently promoting his red hot new single "I Found U" (1st track on player) which will be released on Positiva/EMI in the UK on August 13th (digital 6th August). He has also just completed a covermount CD for MixMag that will be out in Mid-August - expect some exclusive Axwell + Axtone Material on there as well as the usual mash ups that Axwell is famous for. Ax is back in the studio working on a remix of Dirty South's "Let It Go" which will be out on Axtone Records towards the end of August. Orange Muse is Tobias Linden from Sweden who's new track 'After All' (4th track on player) has just been signed to Map Dance Records. This track has an irresistable funky bassline that was inspired by Chic's "I Want Your Love" and a classy vocal performance from the UK's D'Empress. There is a strong remix package in the shape of Soul Central & Morten Trust. Available digitally now and on vinyl from July 30th. Tom Mandoilini (Switzerland) is back making music with long time partner Dimitri (Black Rock 'Blue Water') so look out for some new Dimitri & Tom stuff in the near future. Publishing: We have recently picked up the publishing rights to a very hot track by The Migrants 'I Thought That' (2nd track on player). The Boris Dlugosh remix is currently being hammered by all the top DJ's and has been a massive tune since Miami. Now with a full remix package including Kurd Maverick, TV Rock & Paul Rincon. Kiko Navarro (www.kikonavarro.com) has recently released his first solo album called 'Perceptions of Pacha'. It's a really fantastic album that has an organic, live feel to it reminiscent of Masters At Works classic 'Nu Yorican Soul' album. www.recordstore.co.uk/pacharecordings / www.swankrecordings.com (USA). Tom Crook is working with Simeon Bowring on some new A1 People material. They hope to have an album finished and released through Hydrogen Dukebox early this Summer. Tom has also been working on some fantastic material with Elisabeth Troy (check out track 3 on the player) which is sounding like Massive Attack meets Rotary connection meets Kate Bush.....one to watch. Phonetic Music is also involved in running Axtone Records (www.axtone.com) the label that puts out all things Axwell. The last release was Axwell's "I Found U" which has now been licensed to Positiva for a full release. The latest release is Axwell + Sebastian Ingrosso Vs Salem Al Fakir - this is shaping up to be another Summer anthem for the label. The reactions to this track have been fantastic and our plan of bringing real music back to the dancefloor seems to be working - try getting that 'life will smile for you' line out of your head after a few listens! Axtone have also just signed a monster of a tune from Australia's premier producer Dirty South. "Let It Go" features the vocals of Rudy and a mad ass bass line that will certainly make you wiggle yours on the dancefloor. Expect to see some promos flying around come mid-august. Also don't forget to sort yourself out with some exclusive axtone/axwell merchandise - http://www.axtone.com/store
