About Me

I live in Oakworth, in the Worth Valley with Karen and our two children Amy & Lucas. It's quite rural, but close enough to all the major cities of West Yorkshire and is mostly famous for being the location of the "Railway Children" and Haworth, home of the Brontes, is just over the valley. I've lived in the Bradford area most of my life apart from a year in Barcelona. Let's just say it'd be nice to live there again!I'm currently playing bass for the Skeletal Family, covering for Trotwood who's busy working for Paul Weller. I've played in many bands - the most memorable being the Psycho Surgeons fronted by the late, great Wild Willi Beckett. In my normal life I work for a very large thing - doing web stuff and I.T information management. It keeps me in fruit.Apart from the health of my family - I wish for only one thing in life. A new series of Alan Partridge!

My Interests

I'd like to meet:

I like to meet old friends I haven't seen in years. I have no real interest in meeting "celebrities".

Slimelight Gig - London March 31st

The good folks down at the Slimelight Club are a rare breed of UK club/gig promoters in that know how to look after a band. Whilst all of the gigs I've played around Europe have involved the highest ...

The Downs

Got back from Milan on Saturday afternoon to find out Wild Willi Beckett had finally lost his battle against throat cancer. Although we knew he didn't have long left - and in fact had outlived the doc...

The Up's!

Had a great time in Milan on Friday with Skeletal Family. I had to get up at 4.30am  for the flight from Leeds/Bradford and I was full of cold, but a couple of caffeine shots later I managed...
