About Me

td, span, div, input, textarea, table td div div font, div table tr td fontI'm a San Francisco transplant trying to make a living out here in bustling NYC. I miss my Golden Gate Bridge and cold tepid summers but NYC is where the art market is, so here I am. Before my adventurous move I had never been to NYC let alone the east coast so my life is in flux right now. I'm getting used to the subway system and crowds of people. I don’t think I'll ever get used to the humidity. And winter...well, I've never lived anywhere that snowed. We'll see how I fair come late fall. I’m hoping this adventure turns into a long standing and prosperous career, we’ll see where life leads me. Anyway here’s a bit about me and my personal truths and beliefs…__________________________________________________ ____I have incredibly high expectations for myself. ______________________________________________________I hate the word unrealistic for the mere fact that its definition is not productive to my goals and future achievements. ______________________________________________________My drive to succeed and accomplish something of personal significance in this lifetime can be overwhelming at times. However, I'd rather be overwhelmed than to find myself without purpose. ______________________________________________________I've stopped not believing in myself. ______________________________________________________In the last 3 years I've gone through several revelations. I hope for more in the future. ______________________________________________________If youre going to dream, dream big then bring it to fruition. ______________________________________________________I live my life in accordance to me. I pick and choose pieces of religious texts and teachings that I hold to be true. I define myself as a Buddhist all paths lead to God. Anyone who tells you otherwise lives in fear of retribution. Do not fear anything. ______________________________________________________Im fascinated with religious iconography. ______________________________________________________I believe that minimalism is perfection. ______________________________________________________I believe in freewill and fate. ______________________________________________________I daydream constantly. I often get lost in thought; I love it. ______________________________________________________I live for experiences. ______________________________________________________Notion s of good and bad are purely subjective. ______________________________________________________If I could be immortal I'd only take it under the condition that I'd have the power to die when I had nothing else to live for. I'd absorb mass amounts of knowledge and experiences. I'd learn every language known to man. I'd live 1,000 lives then end it all. _____________________________________________________Nothing lasts forever. The only enduring condition we have is love. And love, despite its beauty and perfection, can be the most destructive power on this earth. ______________________________________________________The far left scares me almost as much as the far right. ______________________________________________________I'm a world traveler. The more obscure the destination the better. ______________________________________________________The American way is not always the right way. ______________________________________________________Obscur ity is much more fun than normalcy. ______________________________________________________There' s about a million miles of separation between knowing what to do and actually doing it. ______________________________________________________Three physical feats I wish to accomplish in this life time: complete a triathlon, climb Mount Everest, do a h.a.l.o. jump. ______________________________________________________I'm a work-a-holic ______________________________________________________I live with a curse called diabetes. I hate it considering I have a horrible sweet tooth. Despite this I take very good care of myself. ______________________________________________________I'm a health food freak; brown rice and soy all the way. ______________________________________________________Spicy food is good food. ______________________________________________________Vegeta rianism is for me. Veganism is not. ______________________________________________________Dogs are truly mans best friend. ______________________________________________________I've been called an elitist before. I dont know if that's really an accurate term I'd use to describe myself. I'll let others decide that one. ______________________________________________________If you can't learn to forgive then you'll never learn to truly live. ______________________________________________________My greatest fear is... well, what's the fun in revealing every tidbit regarding myself.

When then the seasons loose their way

I think winter got lost this year. Honestly now, I thought I'd be freezing my buns off by this time of the year. Instead I saunter out of the apartment with a teeshirt, scarf, and light jacket/coat. A...
