I read a lot! Right now knitting is my newest hobby. I like going to see movies when I have the time. I read just about anything I can get my hands on. I love St. Louis Rams football. I really loved watching the open training camp sessions this past summer. Cardinals baseball is something I like to watch as well. I still haven't been to the new ball park. Killer Bunnies is my new favorite game and not just because Sinister Bunny reminds me of my Mimi. It is quite addicting.
Mindi Abair, Peter Cincotti, Carbon Leaf, Jason Mraz have been taking turns on the cd player lately. Josh Groban, Josh Kelley, Michael Buble, the Corrs, George Gershwin, Jeremy Davenport are a few of my favorites. I've been in a musical mood switching back and forth from Phantom of the Opera, Rent, Jekyll and Hyde, and Jesus Christ Superstar. Others that float my boat include: Anna Nalick,Ella Fitzgerald, Matt Bianco, Corinne Bailey Rae, Billie Holiday, Jack Johnson, Sara Evans. I am odd.
I love movies. I've been watching more of the classics recently. I'll stop what I'm doing to watch a Cary Grant film. When I'm feeling down, the Polar Express makes me happy...it's fantastic in 3-D! I enjoy Jane Austen adaptations, Serenity, the Harry Potter films (not the third one though), the Lord of the Rings, The Phantom of the Opera, Van Helsing, Mignight in the Garden of Good and Evil, The Mummy films, Doris Day movies, Underworld, most Gerard Butler movies, Down With Love, Rent, Chicago, etc. Comedies, dramas, period films tend to float my boat.
The Office is one I do my best to not miss. The Amazing Race is pretty neat-o. I also enjoy Firefly, Cities of the Underworld, Most Haunted, Heroes, the Dresden Files.
So many books, not enough time to read them all! I love to read...it's my main escape. I'm currently burning my way through Jim Butcher's Dresden Files series. Other favorite authors include Jane Austen, J. K. Rowling, Laurell K. Hamilton, Sophie Kinsella, Douglas Preston & Lincoln Child, J. R. R. Tolkien, Steve Berry, Anne Bishop, Jennifer Crusie, Rachel Holmes, John Sandford and many more! An Advanced Review of Speech Language Pathology had taken up residence in the backseat of my car.
