It has been a big year for dynamic hip hop Dj Cosmo. Starting the year opening for Hip Hop legend Nas and ending the year taking home first prize in both the DJ Olympics Turntablist competition and in the Team Battle with MC Ghettosocks. Cosmo has been working away at making a name in the Halifax scene as a proven party rocker, being able to get the people on the dance floor for both the opening of headliners like Gza, Roc Raida, Dj Numark, Lupe Fiasco, J-Live and for his bi-weekly Old School Night with Dj T-Woo at Tribeca. Backing up his djing he has worked on collaborations and production with Ghettosocks, Black Union, and Ruby Jean. Showcased doing corporate events for Red Bull, The Coast, Atlantic Film Festival and Eastern tour dates with Cadence Weapon proves his versility as a crowd pleaser blending his style of hip hop turntablism, with classics to electro.
