Broken Interlude formed in 2005 in San Francisco, California. The band started out as a middle school idea dreamed up by Vee, Mat, and a few of their friends. As they moved up into high school, some members resigned due to complications. As they attended Metro, they met Alex, one of their Guitarists and the trio started their shaky start at the school talent show with a lot of help from KK, a pro Guitarist in the Bay Area. While Broken Interlude was starting up, Last Nail in the Coffin (LNITC) was also having a shaky start. It started out with Jonny, their friend Jack. Brandon met them later on through his sister who attended high school with Jonny and Jack. They didn’t have much but they were committed practicing and making their dreams a reality. However, the band began to part due to college and members moving. Later down the line, the band performed a few open mics and at a high school. Then, needing to become a complete band, their guitarist stumbled upon a bulletin on myspace from Alex who was trying to find a guitarist, bassist, and drummer. LNITC tried out at Brandon’s house in mid May. On that day, Broken Interlude formed the complete band they are now and wrote a little song named Believe. This was also a reunion between Vee and Jonny who were elementary school buddies. This marked a new beginning for the band. Broken Interlude made better songs and performed at Carnaval which gave them exposure around the neighborhood. The band continued to progress and to write more songs. In December, they had a live video shoot in Walnut Creek at Betty’s Rock Club. With an average age of 16-17 years young, Broken Interlude's maturity has already caught the eyes of some very prominent figures in the music industry. The band is currently working on original music that is sure to turn heads and re-define what modern rock can do.
