Downeast Allstars

So here it is finally the DownEast Allstars page! Jesus Christ were do I start. This all began about four years ago. We were all done with our previous "bands" and had nothing. Still wanting to make music, we formed the DEA out of nothing in the middle of nowhere. Now after countless breakups, breakdowns, drunken misunderstandings and plenty of things I won't mention here, we are somehow still together. Now more serious and slightly more sober, we decided to put ourselves out there.Why do we play music? Sheer necesity. First to try to save ourselves from a horrible fate of being downeast everyday for the rest of our lives. Secondly because of the sorry state of music these days. The punk rock and hardcore music we grew up with is fast becoming a thing of the past. It has since been replaced with preppy fauxhawks, whinning about the govt or girls, and pretty much no originality or substance whatsoever.Thats where we come in. Our music is the purest, rawest form of music you will find these days hands down. We are the PROPER evolution of yesterdays punk and hardcore scene. This is our hearts and souls, our philosophy and religion. This is what we believe in. No gimmicks, no bullshit, just good music.So, if you like the songs on this page (we know the sound quality is bad, were sorry, were fixing it), come check out our next live show.
