About Me

www.justgiving.com/edinburgh2london MyGen Profile Generator
As human beings it is our duty to speak out when we know in our hearts that something we are all doing is wrong. So I'm in danger of preaching, of sounding righteous, of taking the moral high ground; is that such a bad thing? Stop the demand for cheap cotton! Stop buying cheap, throw away clothing! It is cheap because exploitation appears in the equation. This exploitation exists because corporate animals are just supplying to high demand; they're just giving you what you want! Workers would be paid a "fairer" wage if we were all willing to pay a higher price in the shops! Buy 'less at more' rather than 'more at less'; this applies to individuals and businesses! It's just pure greed and that greed causes suffering and costs lives. Maybe you feel your contradicting yourself?; to at least try is better than just accepting this massive wrong doing! Sort it out! Seriously!
Alan Sugar, Phillip Green and all the other fat cats believe that business isn't about changing the world, it isn't about marketing something of moral value (as he openly admitted on BBC's Apprentice); it is, to them, about giving people what they want as cheaply as possible in order to gain as much money, profit and power as possible. BULL CRAP! I have created KillerStrawberry to challenge the very routes of consumerism; KillerStrawberry is about comradeship and justice, not competition and greed, and if you don't believe me i will happily send you a copy of my cashflow! Money can be put to good use and I am already proving this. I only buy fair wear clothing that is not damaging to humans or the environment.
If i continue to succeed i pledge to carry on only ever buying fair wear or fair trade cotton that is certified organic or environmentally friendly. I will also increase usage of second-hand and recycled clothing. This is not some novelty money making scheme, these regulations have been put in place to limit the western world from preying on the weak and vunerable and raping mother nature. Do not dismiss it without first doing your homework! Not one single human being on this planet should have the most vital of civil liberties taken away from them: choice; and especially not by another human being. The fact we allow such corruption to go on is insane!
A long term pledge of KillerStrawberry is to plant forest back where it belongs, it was here before us after all. I am not after your praise or approval, likewise i do not need your doubts or disapproval, i am doing this because i am going to make a difference and i refuse to leave this world until i have done my part to actively change it! The earth and nature gives us everything we need to survive; water, air and food. We'd all be dead without it so my top priority in life is to respect it. What nature gives us, nature can take away.
