CRUISE WITH ERIC TO CABO
In Media Group and Los Angeles-based Jason Coleman, Inc., a producer of exclusive group cruises, have postponed the “Farewell to Harmony—The Bon Voyage Fan Cruise.” The five-day cruise vacation, originally scheduled for spring, is now scheduled to depart from San Diego, California on October 27, 2008, and will feature a visit to the Mexican port of Cabo San Lucas.
In an announcement on the cruise website, www.cruisewithpassions.com , producers decided to reschedule the “Farewell to Harmony” Passions fan cruise to allow more fans the opportunity to cruise with Eric Martsolf and his co-stars. With new episodes of Passions scheduled through the summer, the early fall “Farewell to Harmony” cruise will now be the ultimate opportunity for loyal Passions fans to say goodbye to their favorite stars. The one-of-a-kind voyage will be a bittersweet opportunity for fans to say goodbye to the drama. The cruise will be headlined by Eric Martsolf (Ethan Winthrop) and co-hosted by popular castmembers Eva Tamargo (Pilar Fitzgerald-Lopez), Emily Harper (Fancy Crane), and Colton Shires (little Ethan Crane).
“I am excited to co-host the Passions fan cruise and look forward to the events we have planned for our guests. Our fans have stood by us through the ups and downs over the last year, and this cruise is a great way for us to personally thank them,” said Eric Martsolf, co-host of the cruise. “Rumor is I’ll even entertain with an intimate concert exclusively for this group of fans.”
Co-host Eva Tamargo said that the Harmony fans deserve the opportunity to give it a beautiful kiss goodbye at sea, “…in honor of the loyalty the fans have shown us for nine wonderful years,” said Eva. “You were there at the beginning, let’s be there together as we bid farewell!” Private activities during the cruise will include a variety show, Q&A session with the stars, several opportunities to meet and interact with the hosts, cocktail parties, and a Halloween-themed masquerade ball! “I promise it will be an experience you’ll never forget” Eva continued!
The “Fun Ship” Carnival Elation features a diverse selection of lounges, bars and nightspots, along with a health and fitness center, Wi-Fi Internet access, cellular phone service, and three pools, one of which features the line’s signature “Twister Waterslide.” The 2,052-passenger vessel also houses three restaurants, including two elegant main dining rooms with extensive menus and wine lists, and a poolside eatery offering a wide variety of cuisine, in addition to 24-hour pizza and self-serve ice cream/frozen yogurt. A sushi bar and complimentary 24-hour stateroom service are also available.

ABOUT ERIC
Eric describes the birth of his professional career as "a choice he made in May of 1993." The choice he refers to was whether to pursue his interests in the legal profession or the unstable world of entertainment. He graduated from Dickinson College in Carlisle Pennsylvania with a BA in political science with honors, emphasizing in mass media politics and constitutional law. His time away from his studies was spent performing in unlimited capacities - in rock bands, choirs, operas, musicals, barbershop quartets, to mention a few. Putting his academic career temporarily on hold, Eric ventured to NYC where he began a long stretch of musical, acting, modeling, and performance endeavors.
Aside from his role as Ethan Winthrop on NBC's Passions, Eric is most widely known for his critically hailed comic portrayal of the Pharaoh in Andrew Lloyd Webber's Joseph & the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, which he toured nationally with for four consecutive years. He consistently drew in acclaimed reviews from even the harshest of critics, calling him a "mix of Elvis and Stallone - a blend of charisma, muscular framework, and talent to be reckoned with."
Additionally, Eric has appeared in over 40 musicals and plays. Most recently he has starred in the new musical Knight Life (Sir Handsome Plotdevice/Dark Knight), and the new musical adaptation of Garry Marshall's Happy Days (Count Malachi).
Eric describes himself as a "work hard-play hard kind of guy." "Life is a series of choices between the heart and the mind," he says. "When in doubt, go with your heart - it will rarely lie to you."
In whatever direction his promising career may go, it is certain that Eric's fusion of persistence, ambition, and heart will make for one terrific ride.

My Interests

Music:

Band Website: ericmartsolf.com
Band Members: Eric Martsolf, Vocals
Dito Godwin, Guitars
Jeryl Thompson, Bass
Frankie Anthony, Drums
Marcus Brown, Keyboards
Stone Kali, Rapper

Influences: I always gravitate towards a great melody married to a rough edge. If one stuck Led Zepplin and Barry Manilow in a blender, I would buy the music that poured out. The bands that fused rock and melody together inspired me--Journey, Earth Wind & Fire, Metallica, Rolling Stones, and Elton John. But being a performer at heart, the talents of Tom Jones, Frank Sinatra, James Taylor, Elvis Presley, and Neil Diamond have always stood out for me as well. These guys were originators in the music world, and that's what we need more of in the industry today.

Sounds Like: A fusion of 80's growl with a pop element of today--put David Coverdale (Whitesnake) and Nick Lachey in the blender and mix on high, and there's my "vocal smoothie."
