Well. It's just me really. I've been Producing since my sophomore year of High School thanks to Mr. Kenneth M. Lennon allowing me access to a Korg O1W.I have a great deal and a great variety of music to share with you folks. Music from shows (musicals) that I've arranged as well as some other random music of mine. I don't particularly place myself in any one genre, if It's music, I can do it...or at least try to.The four songs posted are some works from the past four weeks (as of 9/11/07). My challenge always has been to find the middle line between what Is pleasing to my ear musically, and the simplicity that has sadly infected most producers in the industry. The musicality of music has declined a great deal. It's just all so simple, doesn't seem to be much to it anymore. And don't even get me started on computer aided/auto tuned vocals. I mean yeah, It's a nice luxury, but I think it's over used, to the point of a person not even really needing any kind of talent or gift can be successful in the industry....besides, I can't afford it for myself.I do a little singing as wellThese songs were sequenced on a 2001 Korg Triton and a Yamaha TX7 sound module, The vocals were recorded on a Yamaha AW16 Digital Recorder and a Digital Reference Unidirectional Low-Z Dynamic microphone in a kitchen (sereously). I've never been much of a lyrisist at all. These are the first songs I've ever written. I enjoy making my music. I hope you enjoy listening to it. Leave your comments and criticisms please.
