About Me

To me, Off The Atlas is everything. It's not a band, or a project, it's a lifestyle, an art. I don't want to sound trite, but todays society is surfeited by people who want to be famous. Many people want to play music, write lyrics, be an artist, be a writer, and all because they crave recognition and the spotlight. Sometimes they genuinely have talent and I can honestly enjoy the fruits of their labours, however, art has the power to touch everyone deeply as well as just on the surface, and for me, my music and my creativity is my form of feeling. My hopes, my dreams, my fears - all are expressed in my writing and my music. Does this make it any better than anyone else's efforts? Absolutely not. There are fame crazed egomaniacs who are probably far more talented than me. I'd love for you to feel as deep a connection to my material as i do, but whether you do or not, no matter how any people like/dislike it, it will always represent my history, and will always perpetuate in my little view of the world. I'd like to invite you to share in that with me.
If you can connect with my work and want more info please feel free to contact me.
I'd also love in the future to get a band together and record everything using real instruments to replace the synth and look to variate with additional harmonies and instruments. Watch this space. If you're interested and talented, and you can sympathise with the ethos then please get in touch!
Thanks!
