About Me

i hate dave is a self-destructive punk band from the suburbs of philadelphia formed in january of 2002. run-ins with the law were frequent, and shows usually went on with one or two band members absent, with friends filling in at the last minute. they released an album recorded by the short lived "shady moon productions" (matt wise & adam phaneuf) towards the end of 2002 titled "far from perfection?". shows usually ended with something broken or someone bleeding, and they were kicked out of and banned from a church in early 2003. i hate dave stopped playing shows later that year, and its members have been collaborating together in different side projects over the last five years.
