tagfantasy.comThere was a time, when we all walked together, living in peace, serenity, balance and harmony. This is the way of Grandfather. It is up to each of us to find our way back to his loving embrace, that of the old ways, as it is meant to be. His light burns brite for his childrens.
O'siO' (greetings)
I was given my name by my father on my third day of life in the old ways of my people, as he offered me up, he spoke, "know her, as she was, is and will be, enough of all that is good, give her wisdom, teach her the old ways and guide her path back to your light".
Being of the Eastern Tsalagi people, Keetawah Band, Deer Clan, I walk a spiritual path, the ""good red road"" of my people, born in Utah and raised on a ranch/farm in both Wyoming and Utah being taught the old ways of the people by wonderful, loving, gentle, parents and grandparents, uncles and others, it is the simple ways of life I tressure, the ways of nature, herbs, and the Earth Mother, learning at a very young age to train horses, herd cattle, haul hay and even shovel s t, yet this is the life I still long for and adore.
I speak from my heart, as the heart speaks the truth in all things, it knows things that the mind has never even thought of. This was the way I was taught, and I know nv (no) other, but in honesty and truth, I share my words with you now.
To know of ones true self is to have great knowledge, to share of ones true self is a blessing, not only to you, but to those you share with. It is within us to learn and grow in his light. To share of our light with another is the most loving thing we can do as beings of Earth Mother. All experiences that come upon us are lessons that we are to learn, grow and overcome, so that we may continue to move forward in our life. I tell you now, do not hold anger, resentment or hate, as this will harm only oneself. Some of life experiences are hard, some good, some bad, ugly and sad, but all are lessons for our growth. In growth, all is good. As we grow, we come closer to Grandfather and the old ways of the ancestores, as we once were, living in peace, harmony, contentment and serenity with all things.
It takes much more courage and strength to give of oneself than it takes to hide it.
Each day is a great blessing, just to breathe and walk once again on Earth Mother's back.
Be kind, gentle, just, honest, compassionate, understanding and shaing with all Grandfather's creation. That which you give in love will come back to you, 10 foul, this I know to be truth.
My first tongue is that of Elati, which was the first written as well as published american indian language, 86 written syllabary in 1821,by my 4th grandfather, Sequoyah for the people. Now there is a new eastern, western and even southern dialict, speaking that the first is exstinct, yet there are still a few of us that still know and use Elati. There is much lost in translation from Elati to english, yet all is good.
I was blessed with the honor of being called to serve as the youngest of council for the people, clan mother and elder. This takes me to ceremony, blessings, namings, healings, rends', powwows and other tribal gatherings. I held gatherings in my lodge for all peoples that wished to know/learn/hear the old ways of the people, wishing and wanting this to be apart of my life again, as my gift is to share of these things with others of a true heart, through my artwork, knowledge, insight and wisdom. I assist others to find their animal spirit guides in the medicine work I was taught by my grandmother as well as stone medicine. In the blessing of my artwork, much is designed, created, and made, such as drums, flutes, prayer fans, dream catchers, medicine wheels, smudge pots and herbal blends (to smoke of use in cleansings), pottery, hair ties and much jewelry, which I gather my own herbs and stone for.
I was blessed with two sons', first crossed at a young age, other lives in Florida with his wife and their two sons', that are greatly missed, as I have not seen my son for 10 years now and never my grandsons, I long to hold and feel them close, to gaze into their eyes and speak (aya gvgugei niti)and this shall come as all good things do.
I have been single for 17 years now, lived from one coast to the other, as traveling is wonderful. Now living in the desert with my brother, DJ, we share a home with my 3 cats and 2 dogs, what special, incredible creatures they are, would have many more of all types if I could.
Love to be in nature, music, starlite, soft touches, thunderstorms, the feel of rain, the scent of lilaics and lavender, computer games, reading, writting and sharing with others.
