About Me

.. ..
I was born in Denmark, and at the age of 10 my family moved south of the border to Flensburg (Germany) where I attended the Danish Duborg Skolen til 1987. I studied for my A-Levels at the Business School in Aabenraa from 1987-1990. In 1992, I moved to the UK to work as an au pair for a year and ended up studying for my BA at Northumbria University where I met Nathalie's dad whom I married in 1999, divorced in 2004. In the autumn of 2005, Nathalie and I moved to Flensburg to be closer to our family; she is now in school and I am studying for a Masters degree at the University of Southern Denmark. As well as I my degree, I am holding down 3 jobs including working for the Center for Regional Economic Development in Sønderborg, and lecturing Logistics at the University of Southern Denmark.
In my spare-time (when I have any!) I dabble a little in creative writing http://www.writing.com/authors/annemrc and am also a chemo angel http://www.chemoangels.com to the most wonderful little girl in the world

My Interests

I'd like to meet:

Happy, smily, positive people... Oh and if Viggo Mortensen is lurking... ;-)

Note to bands / artists: I receive a lot of friend requests from various artists and whilst I appreciate that MySpace is a wonderful vehichle for you to promote your work and gain recognition, it might be worth while if you actually check out my general music taste first before sending me a friend request as I am only likely accept your request if I would also consider buying your record in the store. :-)
