Then came a break from the West End and I travelled to South Africa and Taiwan singing songs from the shows and then a tour of Hong Kong and Dubai.
A couple of years touring the world and I returned to the West End in the long running musical Fame as the dance teacher. One of my favourite roles followed in Smokey Joes Cafe where I sang the role of the Rock and Gospel Singer.
My career as a recording artist has led me to work with Michael Ball, Cliff Richard and many West End Albums. Recently I was very privaleged to be a backing singer live with Sir Elton John, Barry Manilow and Donna Summer at Sir Eltons White Tie and Tiara Ball. I have been part of BBC Children in Need for many years and have sung with Rod Stewart, Will Young, KD Lang, and Bonnie Tyler. I am also a seasoned soloist with the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra.
As well as singing I have filmed a BBC play with Robson Green and appeared in BBC1's Doctors and a welsh costume drama called Treflan.
Alongside my concerts, I spend most of my time now as a vocal coach coaching young pop singers and I have pupils in numerous West End shows, plus coaching for the BBC. Finally West End leading ladies under my tuition have included Claire Sweeney, Hana Waddingham and male leads such as Guys and Dolls, Lion King, Producers, Les Miserables and Wicked.
Cunard Lines, P&O and Silverseas are some of the ships I have performed my show on.
Most recently I have worked closely with Lord Andrew Lloyd Webber and the BBC on "How do you solve a problem like Maria" and am currently in a second series on Saturday nights of "Any Dream will Do".
