About Me

Ok, time for a new profile...I just recently moved to the west coast after growing up, going to school, and eventually getting a job in Ohio. After 3 years of working as a professional in the TV news industry I was on the brink of burning out. So I decided it was time to take a chance and pursue what I really wanted to do with my life. I got a new job for 6 months, saved some cash, and hauled ass westward. After a brief vacation in Vegas to see some old friends from college I finished the trip and ended up in Los Angeles. My first interview was on my first official day in town but it wasn't until 2 weeks later that I got offered the job. Since then I've worked for Warner Bros. (I always said I would!), Sony Entertainment, 20th Century Fox, MTV, and now Disney/Touchstone. I'm still an artist, still a photographer, still a composer, a writer and a self proclaimed nerd. I'm still a movie fanatic...why do you think I moved to LA? The people? Can't go a minute without music. And although I may come off as a quiet nice guy, you ain't seen nothing yet. If you thought you knew me at any point in time, guess again. I wasn't who you thought I was then, and I'm not who you think I am now. there's a lot more to find out, but not enough time to write it, guess your on your own from here... My Interests

Movies (of course), music, the arts: painting, drawing, sculpting, cartooning...you heard me, cartooning...photography, computers, reading, writing, composing/arranging music, sports, the outdoors, traveling, and I'm sure a whole host of other things I've neglected to mention.

I'd like to meet:

...normal people...if you are one, then you know who im talking about..... width="425" height="350" ....

Music:

Most everything except country...most recent favorites are: Bloc Party, Death Cab for Cutie, The Killers, Snow Patrol, Gorillaz, The Format, Pete Yorn, The Album Leaf, Dashboard Confessionals, The Postal Service, Jack Johnson, The Frames, Beck, Pearl Jam (as always), Staind, Hoobastank, Coldplay, Oakenfold, Edgen, David Holmes, Peter Ducharme, Oasis, White Mud Freeway, Counting Crows....damn I really could just keep going...

Movies:

Top three favs: Shawshank Redemption, Run Lola Run, and Ocean's 11. Next would be Amelie, The Matrix, The Big Empty, Big Trouble, Ace Ventura, Big Fish, Butterfly Effect, Eternal Sunshine..., Powder, Albino Alligator, and Clerks. Most recent additions would be Dirty Pretty Things, The Ice Harvest, Boondock Saints, Emperor's new Groove, Sin City, Batman Begins, Serenity... I could keep going here too...

Television:

Lost, Smallville, Numb3rs, CSI, anything on History Channel or TLC, Deadwood, Dead Like Me, Firefly, The OC, Wonderfalls, and pretty much most of anything Fox (in it's infinite wisdom) decided wasnt worth our time. Simpsons, Futurama, Family Guy, Sam & Max, Animaniacs, Pinky and the Brain, and a shitload of other amazing cartoons and Anime including the all time greatest: Cowboy Bebop...oh yeah! I love cartoons and I always will.

Books:

Stephen King's The Long Walk, anything by James Patterson, Micheal Crichton, or Steve Alten, and my new favorite series: The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy...all 5 of them.

Heroes:

Robert Rodriguez, Stephen Spielberg, M. Night Shyamylan, Todd McFarland, of course Bill Watterson (who is eternally the man for not taking shit from the syndicates!), and Shel Silverstein for being the most infathamable form of genius imaginable (R.I.P Shel). but most of all my dad...if you know him, you know why...
