The Endless Daze was formed in october 2002 by founding members David Vincent (guitar, vocals), Simon Vincent (bass) and Mathieu Brochu (guitar). Within their first year of existence, they worked on more than 40 song ideas, rediscovering the pleasure of creating with a renewed energy. In october 2003, Daniel Martin (drums) joined the band and immediately clicked into the shape of things to come, over 20 songs were soon completed. In september 2004, Jean-Christian Arod (keyboards, Programmation) joined the band, adding substance and mood to the tracks. Recently, Simon Vincent left the band, he's not been replaced yet and the endless daze is looking for a new bass player to give the band it’s new form and sound. The music of The Endless Daze is an ambitious attempt to create musical landscapes and their goal is clear ; make the listener feel something, was it sadness, joy, pain or pleasure. Their melancholic melodies are tainted with hope, just as a sort of silver lining around a dark cloud. Even if the songs are going from smooth aerial parts to more explosive and catchy parts, the mood is always what makes it happen. The sound of The Endless Daze is both raw and textured, characterized by searingly honest vocals over a dynamic two-guitar sound, backed by tight drums, melodic bass and overwhelming keyboards effects, making for an atmospheric combination of melody and agressivity. Each member of The Endless Daze is crucial to their overall sound, and it is this realisation that drives them along, and creates their genre-bending songs.
