ILL Mckenzie was born in Queens NY but raised in North Carolina. Both his Parents are Jamaican. At a young age he had a love for music and interest in being in the music business. His first attempt in music was singing at the age of five with his cousins now known as Will I. Murder and Earl Prophet. They soon came to the realization that singing wasn't in their future, but Hip-hop Music started to grow on ILL. While most people where in class writing notes from the teacher lessons ILL would be trying come up with rhymes and concepts for songs. But still ILL wanted more control and wanted to expand more in music. The idea of making beats and producing his own music came into play at the age of 20. Gathering all the knowledge he could from seeing others or books ILL quickly picked up .. tips and was starting to be able to pick up on his own flaws. With the drive and determination that he has he hopes to be able to one day be a big impact in hip hop through his music, owning his own label, and production company.
