About Me

Out of Orlando Florida The Acclaim has quickly made a name for themselves. All coming from different backgrounds the individual members all bring mature and God given musical talent to the band. Having been playing for about a year together so far, they have covered most of the state of Florida delivering a new experience of sound. The recent release of their debut EP, "The Black Tie Affair" hopes to cap a great year and push them even farther into musical success.While their purpose is to exalt the name of God, They do not fall into the "Christian" genre of music, becuase it will only limit their overall purpose. Instead they take the stage as Christians in a band with a purpose of hope, resucue, and grace.Their music embodies something fresh yet classic that can not be exactly classified or defined. It is all drawn from a mixture of different musical styles that has inspired the individual members over the years.
