Who will be at the Cricket Wireless Pavilion this year?
The Cricket Wireless Pavilion concert season typically runs from mid-Spring through mid-Fall. Listen for radio and television commercials or watch for our newspaper ads in The Arizona Republic, Tribune and New Times for information about upcoming concerts. You can also call the Cricket Concert Info Line at 254-SKYY. Of course, you can always check this Web site's Concert Calendar for the most up-to-date information.
What is Cricket Wireless Pavilion?
Cricket Wireless Pavilion is an outdoor amphitheater presenting the biggest names in live entertainment to more than 300,000 fans annually. Located just 10 minutes west of downtown Phoenix, the Cricket Wireless Pavilion can accommodate nearly 20,000 guests with approximately 8,000 reserved seats under a Pavilion roof while a spacious hillside equipped with large video screens provides a picnic-like setting under the stars for another 12,000 fans.
What if I have special needs?
Cricket Wireless Pavilion is a barrier free facility. Accessible seating is available for physically challenged patrons in the reserved sections. Patrons should specify their need for accessible seating at the time they purchase tickets and should order early for best availability. Patrons can purchase wheelchair accessible, limited mobility, and visual/hearing impaired seating via Live Nation at www.livenation.com. Tickets can also be purchased directly at the Cricket Wireless Pavilion Box Office. The Cricket Wireless Pavilion Box Office is open for all On-sales and Event days only. Tickets are also available for Cricket shows at the Dodge Theatre in Downtown Phoenix, Monday-Friday from 10 AM to 5 PM.
Assistive listening devices for hearing impaired patrons are available and work best in designated reserved seating areas of The Pavilion. All Audio and visual services must be requested three weeks prior to the event.
Restrooms and other amenities have been designed to accommodate special needs as well.
What can I bring to the concerts?
For most shows, you are welcome to bring one bottle of factory sealed water, soft bags and backpacks, blankets, small personal umbrellas, and lawn chairs under nine inches in height. For certain shows, Cricket Wireless Pavilion reserves the right to restrict these privileges due to artist security requirements.
For your protection, the following items may NOT be brought into the Cricket Wireless Pavilion: outside food, bottles/cans, laser pens, strollers, illegal substances and weapons of any kind. Shirts and shoes are required for entry into all events.
Call Cricket Wireless Pavilion at 602-254-7200 for specific show items allowed, including day of show camera, audio, and video policies.
What about parking at the Cricket Wireless Pavilion?
Parking lots open 2 hours prior to show time. Four entrances and more than 6,000 parking spaces in well-lit, secured lots make access to The Pavilion easy. General parking fees are included in your ticket purchase. You can upgrade your parking by purchasing Premier Parking online or at the gate for only $20 per car. Specialized spaces have been designated, including disabled parking and parking for motorcycles. Ask the parking attendant for more information.
What if it rains?
We like to think it will never rain on the day of a performance, but due to the tight touring schedules of performers, all shows must go on rain or shine. There are no refunds in the event of inclement weather. Raincoats, small umbrellas, or rain ponchos are the preferred protection for weather.
What if I need help at a show?
For the convenience of our patrons, Guest Services booths are located in the East and West Plazas behind or directly next to the merchandise stands. If you need first aid, trained medical professionals are on duty at all Cricket Wireless Pavilion events. If medical help is needed, ask any facility staff member for assistance.
Where are the restrooms?
Permanent and plentiful restroom facilities along with chilled water fountains are conveniently located in both the East and West Plazas.
Where can I make a phone call and get some cash?
Complementary phones are available for use at the Guest Services booths. ATM cash machines are available in the East and West Plazas near the ticket gates.
Where can I smoke?
Smoking is permitted in the East outdoor plaza only. Smoking is not permitted in the reserved seating sections, lawn, west plaza or in the restrooms.
When can I get in the main gates?
The main gates generally open 1 1/2 hours prior to show time. Again this year, when the gates open, local and regional music groups will be featured on the side stage located in the East Plaza.
How can I get a backstage pass?
Backstage passes are only available through an artist's manager. If they are available, they are generally offered to local radio stations or fan clubs. Since they are not available for sale, a fan's best hope is keeping their radio tuned to favorite station for contests. Good luck!
How does seating on the Festival Lawn work?
There's nothing quite like enjoying a spectacular concert under the stars on a clear summer evening. Concert fans can spread out their blankets and enjoy the show while stretching out on the spacious sloping hillside. Clear views of the stage, state-of-the-art sound, natural outdoor acoustics, and strategically positioned big screen video monitors (when use is allowed by artist) deliver exceptional sight and sound to audiences on the lawn.
The Festival Lawn is general admission, with first-come first-served seating. You may bring your own chair, under nine inches in height from the seat to the ground, for use in the lawn. For most shows, The Pavilion rents low-profile lawn chairs for $7. Rental booths are located in the back of the lawn.
How do I get to the Cricket Wireless Pavilion?
Cricket Wireless Pavilion is located 1/2 mile north of I-10 between 79th and 83rd Avenues. Our physical address is 2121 North 83rd Avenue in Phoenix.
