Kusha Deep was set up in 2003 by writer and producer Darragh J Brady to act as an umbrella organisation the for music projects he was producing and also for other artists who were being ignored by the industry but have the desire to get their music out to a wider audience.
Darragh had gleamed his skills in the music production and the business side of the industry from being signed at an early age to EMI/Chrysalis with a successful act called ‘Taste Of Paradise’, scoring a big hit with a garage anthem titled ‘Reach Out’
The label started as a result of playing music which had been produced by Darragh and friends over the years but hadn’t been released. “It just a made sense to give the music a home and not wait for someone else to do it for usâ€.
With the onset of the digital revolution we have built up a loyal audience with the music we release. At the moment we are carefully pushing forward with certain projects which we able to promote,
The current roster on the Kusha Deep label are KU (who are soul, blues, rock influenced act), Urban Harmonix, (House Electronica), Chillum (RNB Hip Hop), and Julian Franks who produces World Dance Music.
