nunq is a project of:--

For about 7 years we've been working together. This long period of experiments, song writing, discussions, ideas, and musical development has made us into a very smooth engine. Because of this we've reached a high level of freedom in our approach to music. At the same time the focus has always been on including theatrical elements in our performance.
This in order to highlight the ideas contained within the lyrics and to communicate our philosophies and concerns about the system we live under and the world we live in.
The music can range from very structured to highly improvised.
Right now we have created a programme or show and have started doing live-gigs. We are very bookable. When interested send an email to [email protected]
The recordings here might not reflect the energy the same songs have in a live performance, but they do give an impression of the musicianship and potential of nunq. The videos on youtube give a better impression of nunq's live sound
Our lyrics sprout from our personal interests in social critisism, ecology, science, spirituality, absurdity, comparative religion, technology, conspiracy, biology, dreams, the cultural drone, art, imagination, altered states, history etc. etc. and so on etc.
