Classical violin training from the age of 6 under the Suzuki Method.Started experimenting with the fiddle in a range of musical styles during my teens and still continuing my exploration.Have played with rock, country and blues bands such as Hank Wedel and Princes Street, lots of singer/songwriters such as Ger Wolfe, Donavan, Fintan Lucy, Dave Robb, lots of folk musicians/bands such as Gerry Diver, Liz Doherty, Tim Edey, Stefan Hannigan, Pete Cooper, Kila, Ditherum, Anor, Airc (check out the great musicians on my solo album too), shows such as Lord of the Dance, divas such as Eileen Healy, lots of interesting classical ensembles from baroque chamber groups to experimental 20Cth ensembles. Always up for trying something new and different, particularly where there is improvisation involved.............but also projects that are traditional.All this has led to me composing and arranging my own music.
