Jan 2009: 60th anniversary of Basildon for Essex FMentertained the dignitaries & crowds on the Essex FM stage with Dom along with Georgie Swan to promote Basildon's Birthday celebrations for the coming year
New Years Eve - was asked to bring the New Year in at a ticket only function for Pizza Express (famous for their jazz events throughout London and Essex)
All throughout 2008, Josh was invited to entertain at various private functions golf courses, exclusive hotels and council events. He has also been interviewed by various newspapers. He has also been interviewed on the radio by BBC Essex, Essex FM, Link FM, Gateway FM, who regularly support and follow his progress.
December 2008: ‘Age Concern’ charity sponsored by Basildon Eastgate Centre Performed a two hour set in the Basildon Town Centre Food Court for the Age Concern Christmas Party
December 2008: Dates throughout December - asked to entertain in Basildon Town Centre singing swing set entertaining the shoppers during their Christmas shopping
December 2008: Provided entertainment for St Lukes Hospice, Little Haven’s Hospice and St Francis Hospice Christmas parties
December 2008: Queen’s Theatre Hornchurch – Following the success of his previous guest performance, and by popular demand, Josh was asked to do his own show in the week leading up to Christmas
December 2008: BBC Radio Essex Christmas lights and firework party – Southend on Sea
December 2008: BBC Radio Essex Christmas lights for Chelmsford with Austin Drage (X Factor), Zoe Tyler (star of Loose Women) and a star from The Gladiators
December 2008: Essex FM Christmas lights with Sue and Dom for Basildon – other artists including Austin Drage (X Factor) and Signature (Britains Got Talent)
December 2008: Bentley Golf Club Brentwood - asked to be the entertainer for 2 hour set for both their Christmas Parties
November 2008: Solo singer: Annual Bobby Moore Cancer CharityJosh was personally asked by Stephanie Moore to perform at her fund raising event at the Royal Lancaster Hotel, London - other performances included: Gareth Gates, Souled out and Hoopla of Britain's Got Talent.
October 2008: Special request from the Chairman of the Basildon Council to perform at his civic ball
October 2008: Queens Theatre, Hornchurch. Evening of swing appearing with Keith Ball (son of legendary Kenny Ball)
October 2008: Entertained Southend United Football Club at their sponsors celebration at the Cliffs Pavilion
October 2008: Havering Festival swing set closing the weekend with a show with Andy Abrahams (X Factor)
September 2008: Won Billericay’s Got Talent with an original song written by Daniel Suett. Josh performed in a boy band with Tim Reeve and Dan Suett and claimed first prize. Judges included: Xfactor girl band - Hope - and Winner of Britain's next top model - Lauren McAvoy.
September 2008: Burnham-on-Crouch – 100th anniversary centre stage with BBC Essex Radio.
September 2008: Solo swing set Essex Air Ambulance 10th Anniversary with June Brown (Dot from Eastenders) & Essex F.M Radio
July 2008: Javert in Les Misérables at Towngate Theatre, Basildon. Director : Gary & Ann Sullivan
July 2008: Basildon Festival –performed swing set on centre stage supporting The Bootleg Beatles and Journey South in front of 40,000 people on a two day event with Basildon Council and Essex F.M
May 2008: Southend United Blues Idol Champion – from auditions all over Essex, became one of six finalists – each finalist had to sing in front of the fans at each home fixture. The fans voted by text who they wanted to sing their anthem. On the team’s final fixture date, the finalists all sang again and the winner was chosen. Josh won and now represents the football club singing their new anthem “Like a bridge over troubled watersâ€. The CEO of Southend FC then requested his presence at their Annual Ball the next evening to sing a set in front of 350. He received a standing ovation.
Mar 2008: Requested by Pete Corrigan to be a special guest and perform live with “Peter Corrigan & The Band of Hope†at Queens theatre Hornchurch.
Feb 2008: We Will Rock You - played the principal role of Britney Spears in to be taken to 3 theatres in Essex later this year; a festival in Waterford in Ireland
in September and Grays Theatre in February 2008.
Throughout 2008: Various Radio interviews and live performances including BBC Essex radio, Link FM (The Peter Corrigan Show + Pop Rock Hour) and Gateway FM. Various events for St.Lukes providing entertainment and raising money for charity. Private functions around UK (weddings, parties, special appearances).
Dec 2007: Mad Maldon Mud Race 2007 – requested by BBC Essex to sing a variety of swing songs and entertained the crowds of 8000+ people just before the race.
Nov 2007: The Mayoress of Thurrock requested that Josh sing at the opening of the new “Grahame Thomas Pavilion†at Orsett Hall in front of 450 dignatories (which had burnt down earlier that year).
Nov 2007: Basildon Christmas Lights - sang just before the turning on of the Basildon Christmas Lights by Brian Bello Winner of Big Brother 2007 – the event was covered by BBC Essex and Josh was interviewed live after his performance.
October 2007: Won 1st place in the "Search for a star - Voice of St.Lukes Hospice" of which he will now be represtenting the Hospice in charitable events throughout the year.

January 2007: First time singing solo in Rat Pack swing night in The Royal Tiger restaurant in Rettenden, Chelmsford. Received accolade from the management and ovation from a full house.
February 2007: Les Miserables: Principal role of Enjolras in the Stageability/Essex Group production shown at the Thameside Theatre Grays. One reviewer said "Josh Dubovie was Enjolras, the best performance for me of the night". The show recieved standing ovations most evenings.
November 2006: Calamity Jane: principal role of Wild Bill Hickock, University Theatre, Colchester.
July 2006: Short listed to 1 of 3 from 600 auditionees to play the lead role in the film Innocent Love - the main backers unfortunately backed out and the film was shelved.
March 2006: Sweet Charity: Lead role of Oscar in Billericay School production. Jeffrey Rogers (choreographer to the stars and now director of Performing Arts College Stanford le Hope) said he was "absolutely superb - made him laugh and made him cry"
February 2006: My Fair Lady: Principal role of Freddy Einsford Hill at Thamside Theatre Grays.
December 2005: Norwich Review: promotional show for showcasing Stageability - chosen (one of 10 senior Stageability pupils) to support the Norwich School in an all singing all dancing extravaganza.
July 2005: Catastrophe Creek: principal role of The Mayor (singing, dancing and acting) Thameside Theatre.
February 2005: The King And I: principal role of Prince Chulalongkhorn, Thameside Theatre Grays.
January 2005: Hollyoaks: Channel 4 TV extra work - called back 6 times for various filming in school scenes due to his experience and co-operation with the production team.
October 2004: As You Like It (Shakespeare): principal role in representing Billericay School in the UK Drama Festival at the Civic Theatre, Chelmsford.
