Jay-De Belcon (Producer)

At the age of eight, Jay-De started studying music at the Joseph’s School of The Arts. There he learned to play the Cuatro, An instrument of the guitar family, found in South America and the West Indies. Soon after it was time to move on to the Guitar, but was never able to finish learn it because of financial and other problem. After a few years went by, with the love of music still burning within him, Jay-De continued taking part in any musical activities in his school. At this time he was attending the Palo Seco Government Secondary School. While in Form 3, the school decided to introduce a music class. This was the best news that could ever touch his ears. This class was instructed by Joseph “Joey” Rivers. After two years Jay-De was already tired of just playing music, around that time was when the idea of becoming a Music Producer came by. This time Jay-De was in Form 5, instead of devoting his time to study and prepare for his C.X.C. Examinations, Jay-De devoted his time in learning the role of a music producer and getting what was needed to start on the road to become a producer. After exams Jay-De began to practice producing music quietly, only letting close friends know what he was doing. Within two years a friend introduced him to some rappers, seeing that his best productions were in the Hip Hop genre and because it was his choice of music to produce. The first rapper Jay-De was introduced to was Quami Hamilton. While Working With Quami, Jay-De continued to learn about hip hop music. After some time Jay-De was introduced to some other rappers, they were Reece Gloud, Kensen Bertrand a.k.a. Kane, Kiern Almarales a.k.a. Bling & ACE. They formed a group called Kryptonite Klan. Kryptonite Klan started of great but soon became filled with problems. and before long it was over.Reece and Kane continued to do music with Jay-de while Bling started promoting parties and ACE went on to do his own thing. Soon after Jay-De was introduced to two other rappers, they were, Dwight Bhola a.k.a. Shy and Rene Clement who was the first female rapper Jay-De produced for. That the beginning of the group “Young Veterans”.
