About Me

A successful singer presenting mainstream swing and jazz standards, Louise, as well as her own band, works as vocalist with the Pasadena Roof Orchestra, sings with James Langton and his Solid Senders and has appeared with the BBC Big Band several times. She has performed at major theatres and concert halls both in the UK and across Europe, provided the music for the Savoy Hotel Sunday Tea Dances for four years and has sung on BBC Radio 2, 3 and 4, as well as appearing in Period TV drama. She has a particular love of and affinity for the dance band vocalists of the 1930's and 40's; singers such as Helen Forrest, Peggy Lee, Helen Ward and early Anita O'Day and the bands of Artie Shaw, Benny Goodman and Harry James, to name but a few.
