Thomas Bornø

Danish piano player and composer.
Thomas graduated from The Rhythmic Music Conservatory, Copenhagen in 2004, where he studied with Jacob Christoffersen, Carsten Dahl and Nikolaj Hess. He later studied in the US with Kenny Werner among others.
Thomas is a member of the quartet "Eve", with whom he recorded the debut album "Eve" (C-nut). He is also a member of Jens Søndergaards "Art of Pepper Quartet", with whom he recorded "More Pepper" (Stunt). Thomas recorded with "Orbit Big Band" in their celebration of Danish fairytale writer H.C. Andersen "Musical Fairytales" (Music Mecca).
Thomas has played with a great number of danish jazz musicians, including Ed Thigpen, Vincent Nilson, Ann Farholt, Jesper Thilo and Kresten Osgood. In the US, Thomas has played with Lee Konitz and Johnathan Blake among others.
