I've been dj'ing for about 5 years and still remember back in the day when i got ma first set of decks! what started me dj'ing was a couple of my friends were doing it at school and they put a party on at the local church hall, when i got there and watched them i realised that i could do this and 10 times better.I have always loved music and remember waking up to my mums Mowtons records or my dads heavy Rock music! So it was inevitable i suppose that i would end up doing something in music.i got my first decks at the age of 15 and the guy who sold them to me, "Ozzy" also had a vinyl shop and he gave me a few lessons to get me started. I used to love going into the back of the shop digging through the thousands of vinyl's and learning new mixing and scratching skills!!Next thing i know i went to MANCAT college to study music technology and whilst there started djing around Manchester firstly in Karma then, Baby Grand, Papparazzi, Reverlution, then i got a big break when i played a Twice as nice Party in Hidden that was a life changing gig!!! so what am i doing now? Well i'm the DJ for a band called Damaged Gods, we play hip-hop/Rock/Alternative!Check us out at www.myspace.com/damagedgodsand i can safly say i have never enjoyed making music as much as i do with these guys, every gig is such a rush!
