The Pantomime Thief

About Me

Writing industrial and electronica songs has been a venture of mine since 2005, where I first embarked on an experimental project. Still used mainly as a way to unleash more aggressive, dark, and challenging songs than my main bands really allow me to, I actually set to a task of writing and recording an album in 2007. An album: rather than a collection of songs. On 'The Sixth Protocol', I set about trying to make the songs flow as a whole, to use recurring themes to make it seem like The Pantomime Thief album truly was that - an album, rather than just someone writing songs for a hobby. The album touched on matters that I rarely refer to in my other bands - rather than writing solely about politics, or about a positive future, or simply about going out and having a good time, the songs were about darker, more complicated matters that rarely left the introspective viewpoint. I followed this with another album in 2008, called 'Works of Worms', a concept album telling the story of a struggle through depression, anti-depressants, counselling, and the feeling of hollowness on the other side.

A third album, 'Ruins', to be recorded in September 2009.
