Josh Tweek caught the bug at an early age on the illegal party circuit in the warehouseses, fields and tunnels of his hometown Cambridge, before moving to Leeds for University.
A brief stint as a student of fine art was quickly sidelined as the draw of Leeds' incendiary club scene took hold. His first gig, at Tim Sheridan's chaotic VVWI parties at the Velvet Underground quickly led to a residency, and dragged his production work into the spotlight: Tim signing a track upon hearing it played out. As resident on the Very Wrong tour, he plays across the country, most notably at Glade Festival.
A regular on the Leeds circuit, he's made a new home for himself at the Mint Club. As co-founder of the twisted clubnight Louche, he's helped bring a techy firestorm crashing headlong into the city's best loved venue.
Sharing the booth with heavyweights like Paco Osuna, Seth Troxler and Mathias Kaden, Josh's sets flex their muscles across a broad spectrum of house, techno and disco
His productions marry melodic textures, groovy hits and infectious percussive rhythms, with a refined instinctive groove.
