We originally started as a three-piece, all born and raised in Stanton, NE. Our original bass player had to leave the band in 2007, and we added Chris Schoenberg to the lineup on guitar, also in 2007. We have all had a lot of experience playing shows in the Nebraska music scene; John doing double time with The Lifeless Design (Norfolk), Justin in the metal cover band Helldorado and previously the hard rock band Empathy, and Chris in his solo act The Chris Schoenberg Total Package and previously the punk rock band The Gremlins. We are playing a couple of shows here and there and are currently in the process of writing new material for our first full length album (which we are shopping around for labels!!!). WE ARE STILL IN SEARCH OF A PERMANENT BASSIST, so hit us up if you think you've got what it takes! We finished recording our first demo in April 2008 and officially released it in June. On the demo, John recorded all guitars, bass, and vocals while Justin recorded all of the drums. The whole thing was mixed and recorded by Chris. On the demo, we recorded five songs including a song "For The Sake Of Sanity" featuring guest vocal appearances by Matt Wragge and Blake Oleson of The Lifeless Design. Expect big things from Faith Buried In Flames in the next year. We are as determined as ever to get our brand of metal out to the masses and to be a breakthrough act in the Nebraska metal scene. For now just listen to our shit and give us a comment.
