Awh, hell no!!!
So this American Folklore thing started as a series of sessions intended to produce a proper country record. Tim Jenkins on drums and behind the desk, Jeff Horton on bass, pedal steel, table steel, and tele, and me writing songs in the parking lot just before the sessions.....What happened....I dunno?. Anyway, four years later an album has emerged. As we were getting things together both my father and my brother said....."you know that first version of Tin Horns and Calico....that was the one I would be proud of".....uh oh....so with the upcoming American Folklore debut on the horizon, I thought I would put together a few of the outtakes from 4 hard drives in as many years of tracking in Waco..enjoy.
