William Gibson, have a go at Pattern Recognition - and the new novel, Spook Country out now; Mark Billingham's scary thrillers set in London; Steve Coll's Ghost Wars - interesting, worrying and sometimes sad - info on US Intelligence before and up to September 10, 2001; Robert Fisk's The Great War For Civilisation.
Terry Gilliam's Brazil - A beautiful, moving, funny and scary rollercoaster! Stanley Kubrick's - 2001 A Space Odyssey, a masterpiece and a breather ;-) plus of course, Ridley Scott's Alien - A seriously scary movie... and Le Fabuleux Destin d'Amélie Poulain.
