aided in learning the Portuguese lyrics, continued with open tunings in song composition (even
transposing older songs to open tunings) as well as learning new slack key guitar pieces2006 -Released cd 'BossaNovaNights' a live recording from 2005 at The Walnut Room in Denver and "Old Friend'
(on cd for the first time) on Cottonwood Shade Recordings. Set up a web site and extended availibility
of recordings to CD Baby and iTunes. Began producing 'The Open Mic Diary' a 30 min video podcast of
local Denver and surrounding areas' open mics.......(posted on web site and iTunes)
2007
-February: Episode Seven at The Java Creek Café made available.
-March: 18 'The Butterfly Project: The Early Recordings'[...now called, 'Lady of the Lake'] released on Cottonwood Shade Recordings being the first of four, five song CD's in 'The Butterfly Project' series. 30: Episode Eight of 'The Open Mic Diary' shot at the Java Creek Café (All Episodes available for free on iTunes)
-December: finishing work on side project called 'Sandy and the SurfSonics'/Oceanica, surf rock instrumentals (my first love in music)
