I have been playing acoustic and electric rock since I was 15. I sang in an acoustic trio back in the early 80's in Charleston, IL. I graduated with a B.S. in Digital Engineering Technology. At that time, I played in an acoustic trio. We did CSN, Neil Young, etc. Still miss those days and John Garrison and his wife, and my lifetime friend Rhonda. Love and Miss YOU BOTH. The Smoking Rhinos is my cover band. Love them boys like brothers, at the end of the day, that's all that really counts.
Lately I have concentrated my efforts more on the recording side of the industry. My commitments to my singer/songwriter daughter Jennifer have led me into the studio. The studio in return has led me to some amazing local talent. I have been lucky to work with some amazingly talented people, both technically and artistically.
My latest passion has been in producing and recording. From Jennifer's projects as a solo artist to her involvement with Rob, Justin and Jordan in Written in Red, I am constantly amazed at the creative flow that has taken place. Our commitment to each other has helped everyone move closer towards our ultimate goal to attract the attention of a major record label. Bands like Written in Red, Process, Marajo Funk, Process, The Smoking Rhinos, The Plazer Band and countless solo acts have help debug the studio and bring it up to snuff.
We have a relaxed creative atmosphere that has been an asset to everyone that has worked here.
