Sounds tickle the mood. They make you go into it deeper. Into what? Sounds generate brain activity. Sounds sometimes generate words. Unspoken words, which we translate into feelings. Feelings, that we translate into time, and action, reaction and motion. Motion of our hands plucking guitar strings, gently touching the keyboard that generates sound. Sound tickles my mood.
SHORT SUMMARY OF EVENTS:
Avigail has been a busy humming bird since a long while now. Being an attic-musician for several years gave her some time to find out what she wanted, from music. The bigger exposure to an audience occurred by coincidence: In 2005 her song
The Other Side won the audience award in the 100% AF-contest and thus provided her with Digidesign's Mbox2Pro, Protools LE and the Music Production Toolkit, and next to that, a few minutes of fame on one of the most popular radio stations of the country. A few years later (July 2008) this track also formed the title song of her first release: The Other Side EP, released by the EevoNext label (their speciality: electronic music). They provided her with the opportunity to meet a greater audience, and asked her to join the label-compilation What's Next 2 with Slipping (release date March '09, Artwork provided by Avigail as well). The newest developments have been very recent, as her third release happened this month, this time with the track Little Boy of Wander on Manual Music's Summer Movement 2009 (Various Artists).
Nowadays Avigail spends her days studying musicology at the university of Utrecht, making music and trying to expand her music business.
