About Me

Daniela-"Summer's Rain"
It's been a few years since Swedish Rocker Daniela released her debut single, "Ride The Future", but fortunately she's back and better than ever!

Her latest recording is "Summer's Rain" which is a Savatage-cover from their album "Gutter Ballet".
Daniela made a wise decision in choosing this track, as it suits her voice to a "T"!
And obviously the time between recordings was well spent, as her voice has matured considerably.

Daniela's performance on "Summer's Rain" displays a much broader range than was evident on "Ride The Future", and her reverance for the Savatage tune makes her vocal delivery that much more potent, more heartfelt; guess all those years of screaming your lungs out at Hard Rock concerts paid off, eh Daniela?;)

I've no doubt that we'll be hearing more great things from this lady in the future; it's always inspiring to see someone who truly believes in what they do, and who gives it their all. We should ALL be like that!!
Rock On, Daniela!!

DANIELA:Summer's Rain - MP3
This woman from Sweden impresses me a little actually. It may sound risky, but she spent a lot of money from her own pocket to record 1 single cover song ("Summer's Rain" is originally done by SAVATAGE), and then she gives it away for free through her website. But she thought that it was better to do a great recording of 1 song and really spend time on it, than do a half-good recording of more songs. So respect to that!
I have unfortunately not heard the original version (shame on me), but
this version sounds really good to me, so thumbs up! I think her voice
reminds me of Ann Wilson (HEART) and Lita Ford.

DANIELA – RIDE THE FUTURE
INDEPENDENT

Daniela is from Sweden and her debut single song demo packs a mighty punch.
Loaded with hot guitar layers and a great singalong chorus ’Ride The Future’ purrs along in similar style to Aina, Alyson Avenue and No Doubt and is perfect for the radio.
The song does have some modern alternative loops in the mix, thus the resemblance’s to No Doubt , but with a killer ”woh, woh” Europe style chorus, and great vocals you can’t fail but to love this song, I was hooked from the first play as this song has huge crossover potential.

Honestly this is a fantastic song and I really can’t wait to hear more from the delicious Daniela in the future. Interview soon.

Daniela-”Ride The Future”
[CD Single]-2001

Swedens Daniela P may be familiar to some of you; in addition to being a DJ, rock club owner, manager, etc, she..s made the biggest name for herself reporting and interviewing some of the biggest names in Hard Rock [Rob Halford, Skid Row, Kiss, to name but a few].
In short, the lady knows the music business! So it was only natural that she would delve into the ”other side”, you know, the actual music itself!
She dabbled in her own Hard Rock outfit, Spirit, in the early ..90s...

This 1 song demo is but a taste of things to come, and if ”Ride The Future” is any indication, Daniela..s career is looking very rosey indeed! ”Ride the future” is more in Pop/Rock vein, with catchy hooks & melodies. HOW catchy? Well, I was humming it in the shower the other day, how..s that? You KNOW you..ve got a hit on your hands when it passes the infallible ”shower test”!

Daniela's vocal performance here is first rate, never too over dramatic, just simple, direct and to the point. Hell, I can envision this tune featured in a movie soundtrack! In better musical times, it would most definitely be burnin' up the charts, and it still COULD! Of course, you can do your part by ordering this single! Check out Daniela's website for ordering info.

To sum it all up: Daniela ROCKS!!!!!

[Note: This CD also contains pictures and info-files]

ZYDECOM.NET... Daniela - Ride the Future (DEMO) SDL

Hennes demo består av två låtar, ”Ride the Future” och Bon Jovi covern Bed of Roses.
