Influences:Van Halen, Rush, Muse, Megadeth, Weezer, Depeche Mode, Smashing Pumpkins, Misfits, etc. as far as bands go. For individual parts, the vocals are definitely a lesser byproduct of singing to Dave Gahan and Billy Corgan in the car for years. The bulk of the songwriting on guitar uses alot of the same chording that Mathew Bellamy uses. For the more metal sound I am definitely a student of Dave Mustaine as far as riffing, but for the more pop-punk sound sound, I like what Rivers Cuomo does while delivering an all down stroke attack learned from Doyle of the Misfits.
