About Me

To Everyone,
Due to a family and personal emergency I am on an extended hiatus from recording. I will not be checking this myspace for quite a while as I have been unable to respond to every single message. I thank you all who have been thinking of us during this time.
Some of you may have noticed my phone is down. This will be resolved shortly. I will be doing my best to respond to my e-mail, which is [email protected]
Thanks again,
Ian Aeillo
Hi, I'm Ian Aeillo. I record bands in Omaha, Nebraska. I currently work with Mike Mogis at his ARC Studios. I check this as often as I can, but it's hard to reply sometimes. So if you send me a message I will reply as fast as I can.
I can also do freelance work at your studio. My rates vary depending on what you need me to do so I don't put them on the site.
Here's a sampling of the bands I've worked on (production or engineering, sometimes both)in alphabetical order along with album name and record label...
Alessi - Notes From the Treehouse (EMI)
Bright Eyes - Four Winds / Cassadega (Saddle Creek)
Brimestone Howl - Bang Bang Bang Bang Bang Bang Bang (Speed! Nebraska)
Cursive - Happy Hollow (Saddle Creek)
Neva Dinova - You May Already Be Dreaming (Saddle Creek)
Darla Farmer - Rewiring the Electric Forest (Paper Gardens)
Eagle*Seagull - Eagull*Seagull (Paper Gardens/Lado)
Flowers Forever - Flowers Forever (Team Love)
The Golden Age - Jealous Love (Self Released)
Lightspeed Champion - Galaxy of the Lost (Domino)
McCarthy Trenching - McCarthy Trenching (Team Love)
The Good Life - Help Wanted Nights (Saddle Creek)
Maria Taylor - The Weeds Theme Song (Showtime)
The Faint - Meet Your Master/Nine inch Nails Remix
Domestica - Domestica (Speed! Nebraska)
At one time that was alphabetical.
That's the short list for now. Those are the tracks that I figure you will be able to find on the internet and around at your local record shop (or will be able to soon).
At ARC, I work on API and Neve consoles and can either go straight to tape (two Studer A-800's), straight to Pro Tools (numerous Digidesign 192's), or a combination of both. If you wish for me to freelance, I have worked on Trident, Allen and Heath, and a few other consoles. My main recording program I am familiar with is Protools, however I am experienced in Abelton, Cubase, Digital Performer and Reason.
I am extremely lucky to have learned from Mike and AJ Mogis. They are two brilliant musicians.
