About Me

Sin Fronteras... World Without Borders... Music Beyond Borders...
The world music site connects musicians and independent labels to listeners through world music radio in Houston, the Gulf Coast region, and all over the world wide web. Music events, festival information, and other valuable and timely news sent to us through bulletins will also be added to calendars and newsletters of Music Beyond Borders, Rice University Radio, the Houston Institute for Culture, and others.
Independent artists, labels and radio programmers are asked to support the site and connect with radio programmers at KPFT 90.1fm (Music Beyond Borders, World Music Express, GenerAsian Radio, Nuestra Palabra, and more) and KTRU 91.7fm (World Music Show, Rice Radio Reggae, the Local Show, and more) in Houston.
The site provides connections to our radio friends throughout the region and world, and provides music artists with information about international festivals in our region from Brownsville, Texas to New Orleans, Louisiana, with advice (in our blogs) for music and dance groups looking to book dates.
Our Bulletin posts will be extremely limited.
Please stay tuned!
