There is no ideal formula, only hard work plus fate. Madeline Del Sol and Michelle Russo are two singer/songwriters each generating a clear-cut realness and honest talent that is all too rare in this day of prepackaged, television developed pop idols. After years of SOL-searching their creative intuitions, Sol Russh has flourished into a poised and tightly connected duet with a true passion for their music.These talented musicians first stepped onto their career paths with renowned producer, Guy Roche (Christina Aguilera, N'Sync, Celine Dion, Cher, "What Woman Want", "Patch Adams", "Free Willy 2"). Guy led the Sol Russh charge producing four tracks, including “Deeper†which was one of the only demo track's to receive airplay on the Clear Channel Broadcasting Network.
After taking a short break this past year, the girls are now focused on creating a new repertoire that defines who they are not only as artists, but also as women. By utilizing their special vocal blend and sharp writing skills, they are working hard at fashioning a an original sound, integrated with sensuality, intelligence, and unforgettable hooks!
Sol Russh is also back on the road enjoying the thrill of the live scene! Some previous live performances include the Orange Bowl (sharing the stage with OutKast, Ashlee Simpson, and JoJo), Beat On The Beach (headling Shaggy, Jessica Simpson, and Nick Lachey), Ocean Drive Magazines Volleypalooza (headlining JC Chasez and Rooney), Y-100’s Wing Ding (headlining Lenny Kravitz) and Calliope Fest (headlining Lisa Lobe and Sophie B. Hawkins)…in which “New Times Magazine†selected Sol Russh as their “Critics Pickâ€.
