Riding motorcycles...I would love to learn how to drive them one of these days....watching baseball, listening to music (every kind!), improving my fitness, Sky-diving (hey, just because I've NEVER done it, doesn't make it any less interesting!), laying on the beach listening to the waves and soaking in the sun (nighttime is great for snuggling)...Tae-Bo, Billy Blanks is the man!! I will eventually own a BMW, because I obsess over them, but I also need another Mustang cause I MISS mine!!
PEOPLE WHO DON'T DISAPPOINT ME - AFTER YEARS OF BEING GUARDED AND NOT DEVELOPING ANY NEW RELATIONSHIPS, I RECENTLY BEFRIENDED AN AMAZING INDIVIDUAL - A PERSON THAT INSPIRED ME TO LIVE A HAPPIER LIFE - THIS PERSON HAD EVERY QUALITY I WISHED FOR IN A FRIEND - I OPENED MYSELF UP ONLY TO BE DEVASTATED AGAIN - IT'S NOT WORTH THE PAIN - I GUESS THE BOTTOM LINE IS, YOU HAVE BUT ONE PERSON YOU CAN TRULY RELY ON IN LIFE, WITH THE EXCEPTION OF FAMILY AND THAT'S YOURSELF - IT'S A LESSON I'VE LEARNED AGAIN THE HARD WAYMy grandfather (on my dad's side)..He passed before I could speak to him. Jon Bon Jovi since I used to worship the ground he walked on. I even drove by his house in NJ when I lived there! Billy Blanks.
Okay, okay, I must admit that Bon Jovi was my all-time fave band beginning in Jr. High; however, I think I've outgrown it since I don't even own their latest album yet....Let's see...Currently on my I-Pod is a mix of hip-hop, Rock, Country and 80's big hair bands...I love to workout to Ratt and Eminem. Nickelback is high on the list right now, but so is Fergie...
I'm a romantic...I cry during sad movies...Legends of the Fall with Brad Pitt was a pretty good one if you want to cry. Pure Country with George Strait. Anything retro 80's...16 Candles, Weird Science, Karate Kid, Dirty Dancing, Pretty in Pink, etc...ET is great and I think I've watched Poltergeist a thousand times! Dirty Dancing is my cousin Monica and my "sleepover" movie. That one probably tops 2000+ views!
My busy life keeps TV at the minimum. Especially now that the weather is warming up. The one must watch is Grey's Anatomy. I'm over the whole Survivor thing, but I would love to try the Amazing Race. Any volunteers??
I just finished reading "Fish!". It's a book about boosting morale and improving results in the workplace. It was written about a bunch of guys who work at the Seattle Pike Place Fish Market and their strategies for keeping work fun when your job isn't. Great Read!
I've thought about this one a lot and I have to say that my parents win. My dad is a great businessman and he instilled a good work ethic in me. He is Turkish and currently lives in Izmir, Turkey, but he's very progressive and modern in his thought process. All my social studies projects growing up were a no-brainer. I talked about where I was born! And, my mom. I don't know anyone on this planet that works as hard and cares as much about her family and friends. I inherited my "cry at the drop of a hat" side from her. I'm not complaining. It makes me compassionate just like her. Both of my parents are wonderful in their own way.
