A young man from Tandridge Crescent (Rexdale) chillin wit his best friend that he has known for 16 years. As any friend would do is chill, smoke and talk about life. When leaving eachother's presence we would give a dapp n' hug to show RESPECT & LOVE. Not knowning that this would be his last time seeing his face or hearing his voice. An hour later he receives a phone call asking him has he seen his best friend. He stated that "he did about an hour ago". Another hour passes by again and he receives two more calls within that time frame and the answer remains the same. Not knowning that his best friend life was taken away, which seem to be an incident night ended up to be a nightmare. He was shot in his chest n' died on his way to the hospital, but before dying he had taped his voice on his cell phone. He left evidence of his killer's and police knows who did it but no one is talking. Life is Fucked up that way......Life is here one day and could be gone by the night. The young man better known as Kevin Christie aka K. BLOC (Kev. Broke Livin Off Crime) records his first track called " HOW MY LIFE BE ", referring to his life; friends, family, struggle's all formed together as one. I would be a neighbourhood rapper just chilling on my block or other block's just spittin. But since his best friend is gone he has brought his style, flow, voice and lyrical content to the studio. Knowning that his voice is powerful and it will make you listen to my lyrics.Growing up playing Basketball, Soccer and Hockey you would think that sports would be his road to success. But a knee injury to his right knee, tearing his ACL stopped that dream. I could ball, I know that my trophies and points per game speak for itself. For Soccer and Hockey I was on another level doing my thing; trophies, trophies and trophies would pile up. taking after his older brother Carl Christie aka Gavaska. People knew me off of his name alone. My family is a sports family, but you needed good grades to play or no game MOM said no matter what. Born in Canada, the slim kid wit a big mouth. You would hear what he has to say negative or positive but he kept it real no matter where he was at. Now he spit's punch lines and make's tracks. He looks up to the sky everyday and prays for his family and friends to live to their fullest cause life is to short. He has a tattoo on his left arm that says "IN GOD'S HANDS". Everything I do is in GOD's hands no matter what! HOW MY LIFE BE!
