About Me

Learn about Bahai visit: Bahai.usFor those who may be interested Ill tell you a little bit about my life, I started my professional career as a dancer. My first Television appearance was on the legendary Music Show Count Down, at age 15, where I became a regular on the show, along side Tanya Lacey, Cosima Dusting and an array of talented starlets. I then moved to the Gold Coast where I modelled full time for Pam Tamblin, appearing in seven TV commercials, swimwear parades and catelogues, this produced posters which where hung in most major surf shops around the country. I then returned to Melbourne to follow my passion for singing and formed a band called Yelling House, Frankston, which progressed into Def Rhym, regrettably due to my own business, called Impact entertainment taking off so fast I had to leave the band. They went on to sign to a major with my management. At the time 1989 I managed around 80 dancers including Kylie's who toured with her off shore, concerts in London. I also had contracts with around 10 of Melbournes biggest night clubs. My office was up stairs at The Station Tavern, where I booked all the bands in lew of rent!! haha! we had some fun times there with Tony and the gang. I was also the PR manager & choreographer at the Cadilac Bar Carlton where I meet my manager "Gooie" Mark Mc Gaghn" AKA... Plucker Duck, from Hey Hey, he secured an audition for me with Sony Records after recording my first single called "House of Love". Due to differences in direction, and my personal life falling apart at the seams I quashed the management, threw my rip off monster of a partner in Impact Entertainment out of my office and out of my life, packed my bags and set of for Italy to write my own original album. Five months later I returned, tunes in hand and started jaming with the Legendary Jason Richardson from the band Voodoo Child, with whom I did my "apprenticeship" in blues, country, B-bop, swing, psychedelic and what ever else we'd channel, for our generous $30 bucks each and all the beer we could drink, every Wed night at Joey's, St Kilda 1992. Around this time I lead a double life, the Blues was my underground world and the Bullshit Celebrity Night Club Scene was my very public life filled with "associates" Celebreties, rap parties, back stage passes and some pretty amazing friends. I launched "Sensation Saturdays" at Stringfellows, Carlton and XTC, at The Warehouse with my dance troupe called Shock Touch, both venues had thousands of punters queued out side. Thanks to my good friend John on Fox FM. Who plugged all my events for free!!! What a mate! XTC ran for six years after that first massive night. As usual no credit for launching and consolidating these two massive money making machines, just red carpet, free entry and drinks, hhmm!! To Be continued...................one day! Next chapter Steel, the Band and the long road home!!!Mishx body{

Sounds Like: Through the clouds *I've been told sounds a little Leonardo's Bride. It was a one take wonder, recorded in a toilet, believe it or not!!!Sounds like it to me, but it has a beautiful essence, I wrote the song about my husband.RnR soldier *has been likened to Lynard Skinard. Sounds like Sammy to me, haha! Baby I love you. Umm!! Wrong key for me to be honest, but it is a beautifully crafted song like RNR soldier, both written by Sammy or CJ Steel as he likes to be known as these day's.I have over 40 tracks recorded. I'm defanately going back to my blues country roots on my newest album, so stay tuned if your interested, I'll get time sooner or later to finish it???
